Australasian Centenary Celebrations, 24th-26th February 2017 in Auckland
Welcome cocktail party at Sofitel Hotel Friday 24th February
Gala cocktail party and dinner at the Royal New Zealand Yacht Squadron Saturday 25th February
The Australasian Centenary Committee is delighted to report that they are nearly half way to their target of 100 OPs and partners attending the celebrations, with a year to go. The two gala events, to be held at the Sofitel overlooking the Viaduct Basin and the prestigious Royal New Zealand Yacht Squadron in Auckland, promise to make the celebrations truly memorable, especially for the gala dinner at the RNZYS where a top soprano from New Zealand Opera will be performing with The Band of the Royal New Zealand Navy.
For those who have never been to New Zealand before here is a unique opportunity to combine a visit to one of the most beautiful countries in the world with the celebrations.
All OPs, wherever they live, are invited.
Both the Chairman of the Board of Governors, Rear Admiral Roger Lane Nott (59-63) and the Headmaster, Thomas Garnier, will be attending, as will the President and the Chairman of the OP Society.
Further details and registration form are below or contact Robin Paine (55-58) email@example.com
Michael Duck in Hong Kong is also discussing an OP Reunion event in HK before or after the Australasian event.
All OPs living or visiting the West Country are welcome.
