OPs asked views on future direction of the College

From the College…

Dear OPs and Honorary OPs

A complete OP newsletter with pictures and stories will be coming in the near future. However, today we have a few important announcements direct from the College for OPs and Honorary OPs.

The first is a survey to help the College shape its future direction; OPs have recently been asked to complete a contacts survey, and for the hundreds of you who have responded we are very grateful. Today’s survey is a completely different sort, please read below for a message from the Headmaster.

Additionally, two events are coming up to which OPs and Honorary OPs are welcome, one at Henley and one at College. More information is below.

Finally, we also pass on news about the OP City & Livery Group Summer Reception in 10 days’ time. It is not too late to attend, please see below for details!

Thank you,
The Pangbourne College Development Team

From the Headmaster: College Development Plan 2018-2023

Over the past two terms we have been gathering the thoughts and suggestions of Pangbourne parents, staff and pupils as we think about the future of the College and our next Development Plan 2018-2023.

Now we would like to make sure that every member of our community has a chance to participate, and this message is to invite you to participate in a short (10 minute) survey. The survey will draw out some of the themes, strengths and development areas already identified as important, and seek your thoughts on the future direction and priorities of the College.

Your feedback will help us to shape the next phase of the College’s history as we begin its second century. I would be very grateful if you would take some time to help us by completing the survey, available by clicking here.

The more people who complete the survey the better, and the Headmaster of Bradfield College has recently thrown down the gauntlet by suggesting that we are unlikely to match the response rate for a similar survey he conducted recently. The cost of a good dinner is at stake, so please help me to be able to offer him some humble pie to eat for dessert!

Your contributions, by Monday 26 June, will be very valuable.

Best wishes,
Thomas Garnier
