Simon Fidler (77-82)

“A quick update on what I’ve been up to,” writes Simon Fidler (77-82):
“On leaving Pangbourne in 1982, I joined the Bank of England and then moved to the Financial Services Authority in 1998 when banking supervision was transferred to the new regulatory body. I joined Lloyds Banking Group in July 2010 to work on the ‘carve-out’ of TSB and left there in June 2017.  After some interim roles I am now the Chief Risk and Compliance Officer at ClearBank, the first (new) clearing bank for 250 years, based in the Gherkin in the City, a role which I’m thoroughly enjoying.”
